Jim Bottomley Home Run bat

DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 36.5 ounces, with a "Louisville Slugger 125" trademark logo in the center of the barrel and "Jim Bottomley / Trademark" near the end of the barrel. There is a paper label adhered to the underside end of the barrel with a typewritten description about the bat. There are nails in the bat near handle and also near the label on the end of the barrel.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Jim Bottomley of the St. Louis Cardinals to set a National League record for seven home runs in five consecutive games from July 5-9, 1929.
