DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" trademark logo in the center of the barrel and autographs in black ink on the end of the barrel on all sides. "World Champions / New York Yankees / 1949" in black ink on one side of the handle and taper. Underside of barrel to the left of the signatures are remnants of an adhesive label with red edging.
Bio/Historical NoteModel bat signed by members of the 1949 New York Yankees team. The 1949 World Series (October 5th through October 9th) featured the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers, with the Yankees winning in five games.
