DescriptionWhite shirt, size 50, with blue pinstripes and six clear buttons running down the front placket. "Twins / 32" is in red and blue appliques across the front chest. Proper left side sleeve has a red and blue "TC" patch. Proper right side sleeve has an "R" patch. Interior back of the neck has a white rectangular patch with "93-1" in black lettering. Proper left front bottom shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Russell Athletic / Diamond Collection." Reverse of the shirt has "32" in red and blue appliques.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Dave Winfield of the Minnesota Twins when he achieved his 3,000th career hit on September 16, 1993. The Twins defeated the Oakland Athletics 5-4. Winfield, the second member of the 3,000-Hit Club to have never played a day in the minors (Al Kaline was the first), was the first member of the Club to reach the plateau at an indoor stadium.
