DescriptionWhite shirt, size 50, with black pinstripes and six clear buttons down the front placket. Proper left front chest has "Sox" in black and silver appliques. Proper right front chest has "72" in black and silver appliques. Proper right front chest has been signed in black marker. Proper left front shirttail has two manufacturer labels and a tag below with "72-50-93-1" in black lettering. There is a manufacturer logo embroidered in black on the proper right sleeve. Proper left sleeve has a "Comiskey Park / Chicago White Sox" patch. Reverse of the shirt has "72" in black and silver appliques.
Bio/Historical NoteChicago White Sox shirt worn by Carlton Fisk on June 22, 1993 when he broke the record for games played as catcher, previously held by Bob Boone. Fisk caught for the White Sox from 1981-1993. Over the course of his career, he was an eleven time All-Star and garnered more hits than any previous catcher in major league history. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
