DescriptionBlue leather shoes, size 10, with blue laces and white manufacturer logos on both the outer and inner sides. Oversize tongues extend down over the top half of the laces and have white manufacturer labels. Left shoe has additional leather toe reinforcement. Heels have gray uppers with "Nike Air" and a logo in white lettering below and "34" handwritten in black ink above. Bottom soles are blue and white plastic with "Nike" in the center and six metal spikes.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Texas Rangers' pitcher Nolan Ryan on August 22, 1989 when he struck out Oakland's Rickey Henderson on a 96-mph fastball, becoming the first pitcher to reach the 5,000th strikeout of his career. The event occurred at Arlington Stadium in a 2-0 loss to the Oakland A's.
