Al Kaline glove

DescriptionLeft-handed leather fielder's glove, Wilson A-2000 model, with metal grommets lining the base of the palm side of the glove. Palm of the glove has "Grip Tite-Pocket / The A2000 / Snap Action / Wilson / Made in U.S.A." etched into the leather. The webbing between the thumb and forefinger stalls is made of two bridge pieces attached by a vertical third piece. The finger stalls are attached to one another at the tips with leather laces sewn in a crisscross pattern between each finger. Back side of the glove has "Nylon Stitched / 1265 / PAT. NO. 2231204 Canada 398340-1941 / Licensed Under / U.S. PAT. NO. 2722007" etched into the leather. "Kaline" is handwritten in green marker on the back side of the thumb stall. There is a circular black patch under the webbing and to the right of the strap with a gold "W" stitched into the center. There are two circles etched on the right of the strap with the words "Made in USA" inscribed on the inside. "Straplock Â®" is etched onto the strap between two leather laces that tie and secure the strap across the glove.
