DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 32 ounces, with a gold "Hoosier Bat Co." trademark logo in the center of the barrel and "Original HB 21S / The Dream / US Pat. 4714251 / Sammy Sosa" in gold lettering near the end of the barrel. "Sammy Sosa 64-65-66 HR #21 9-28-98" is signed in silver ink near the end of the barrel. There is white tape on the handle extending over the knob end. Knob end has "1 / 42" imprinted into the wood.

Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs to record his 64th, 65th and 66th home runs of the 1998 season. On September 23, 1998, at Milwaukee County Stadium, Sammy Sosa hit his 64th and 65th home runs and on September 25, 1998, Sosa hit his league-leading 66th home run, pulling ahead of Mark McGwire for the first time all season.
