Sammy Sosa Home Run bat

DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 32 ounces, with a silver painted stripe around the taper, a silver "R / Rawlings" logo in the center of the barrel and "Big Stick / Sammy Sosa / Cubs" in block lettering near the end of the barrel. There is white fabric tape wound around the end of the knob and handle.

Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs to record his 18th home run on June 24, 1998, setting the National League record and tying the Major League record for most home runs in one month.
