DescriptionA color photograph of a retired Bob Feller kneeling and tossing in his hand a baseball. Feller is kneeling on his right knee while his left arm rests on his left thigh. Feller is seen smiling and his gaze is concentrated on the baseball in the air rather than at the camera. As indicated by the background, this photo was taken out of doors within a baseball stadium. Feller is wearing a Cleveland Indians home uniform in use from 1889 to 1993, contemporary to the creation of the photograph rather than those worn during Feller's career. The Major League Baseball organization emblem is present in the lower left hand corner.
