DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller and his wife Virginia on vacation. Both figures are shown from the waist up, seated, facing the camera. Each turn their heads away from the camera, in towards one another. Both Feller and his wife are smiling and establish eye contact with one another. Virginia is shown pouring oil onto the baseball glove that Feller is wearing on his left hand. Based on the included background, the couple was photographed out of doors near the water. A caption below the photo (not shown) reads, "MIA-B76-2/1/52-Miami Beach, FL. Mr.Mrs.Robert (Bob) Feller,he is the famous Cleveland -Indian pitcher,vacationing here before going to spring training camp. Bob, is enjoying the sunshine and doing a little work on a new pitchers glove which Mrs.Feller is helping with by pouring the oil while her husband rubs it in. United Press Telephoto. .."
