DescriptionA black-and-white photograph, from left to right, of Danny Kaye, Walter O'Malley, and Harvey Korman captured laughing with one another over a skit done during a comedy show earlier. Kaye is looking down at a baseball in his one hand a pipe in his other. O'Malley is holding a baseball bat against his right shoulder and a cigar in his left hand. Korman is looking down toward O'Malley with a large smile and is sporting a Los Angeles Dodgers hat. A caption is written on the back of the photograph and states, "Famed comedian Danny Kaye, left, and Los Angeles Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley, center, seem delighted that Harvey Korman, right, a regular on Kaye's weekly CBS-TV show, has been 'signed' as a catcher for the coming season. It all came about when Kaye tried to show Dodger general manager E.J. (Buzzy) Bavasi what a good pitcher he was - and Bavasi promptly ignored him in favor of Korman, who was doing the catching." Based on the caption, this photograph was taken in approximately 1966.
