DescriptionNavy blue molded plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/4, with a proper left ear protector along with a red team logo sticker on the front and a "23" sticker on the top of the bill in the center. Top of the helmet has four ventilation holes. Rear of the helmet has a red "23" sticker over an "ABC" logo sticker and an MLB sticker. Interior has a vinyl-covered sweatband around the perimeter as well as foam padding around the ear protector, at top crown and at the rear. Interior has "7 1/4" and "94" handwritten in silver marker. There are three stickers on the interior, including "Diamond Collection," a sizing sticker and a warning sticker with "#7" handwritten in black marker on it.
Bio/Historical NoteThe first and only player to swat two grand slams in one inning, Cardinals third baseman Fernando Tatis wore this helmet on April 23, 1999, when he achieved the feat in the third inning, both homers coming off Dodgers pitcher Chan Ho Park.
