DescriptionGold-colored pin featuring two crossed baseball bats, a raised baseball emblem in the center with "1946" engraved and a small clear gem in the center, "AAGPBL" engraved on a curved ribbon at the top and "Racine Belles Champions" engraved on a curved ribbon below. Reverse side of the pin has "Betty Russell" engraved at the top and "Pennant-Shaughnessy" engraved at the bottom.
Bio/Historical NoteOutfielder Betty Russell received this gold pin as a member of the 1946 Racine Belles, champions of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
