DescriptionCircular sterling silver platter with facsimile signatures engraved on the bottom of the plate along with engraving to mimic the stitching of a baseball. In the center is "1953 / World Champions / 1949 1950 / 1951 1952" engraved with a team logo.

Bio/Historical NoteThe New York Yankees gave members of the 1953 club silver platters, adorned with teammate signatures, for winning the franchise's fifth consecutive World Championship, a record unmatched in baseball history.
