DescriptionClear crystal faceted trophy with a circular base, an open portion atop a tiered pedestal and a lid that tapers to a point at the top. The lid rests on top of the open portion of the trophy and can be easily lifted away to open the trophy. There is a frosted glass area at the front with "The Sporting News / Man of the Year / 1983 Waterford Trophy / Bowie K. Kuhn" etched into the glass.

Bio/Historical NoteIn 1983, The Sporting News named Bowie Kuhn its "Man of the Year," the first time the paper presented its Waterford cut-crystal trophy for a career rather than a single excellent season.
