Tom Drees No-Hitter cap

DescriptionRed cap, size 7 3/8, with a blue button at the top crown and a blue bill. Front two panels are white with "Canadians" embroidered in blue and red and a red maple leaf below. Underside of the bill is green with "16" handwritten in black ink. Interior white cotton sweatband has a manufacturer label in the rear and a sizing tag on the proper right side rear.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Vancouver Canadians pitcher Tom Drees during his back-to-back no-hitters on May 23, 1989 against Calgary and on May 28, 1989 against Edmonton, both 1-0 wins. The Canadians are a team based in the Northwest League (NWL) and the Class A Short Season affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
