DescriptionBlue cap, size 7 3/8, with a red and white "C" embroidered on the front and an embroidered MLB logo at the rear center. "49" is handwritten in blue ink on the interior front panel. Underside of the bill is black with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Top crown button is red. There are three labels on the interior sweatband, including "New Era / Fly Your Own Flag," "Authentic Collection Performance Headwear / Official On-Field Cap" and a sizing tag.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta on April 21, 2016 against the Cincinnati Reds when he threw his second no-hitter of his career. His first no-hitter was August 30, 2015 against the LA Dodgers. This was the first no-hitter of the 2016 season and the first time the Reds had been no-hit since 1971.
