Ozzie Smith Autographed glove

DescriptionLight brown leather six-finger fielder's glove with "Deep Well Pocket / Heart of the Hide / Rawlings / TG12 / For the Professional Player" imprinted on the palm side and pocket. Criss-cross laces attach three of the stalls together while the other stalls are connected by laces across the top edges. Grommets and laces line the wrist of the palm side. Back side of the glove has "A Trap-Eze Model / Edge-U-Cated Heel / US. Pat. No. 2,985,757" imprinted along two of the stalls. Glove has been signed in blue ink, "Ozzie Smith (621)." There is a red fabric "Rawlings" manufacturer logo across the back side of the wrist strap.

Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by Ozzie Smith of the San Diego Padres during the 1980 season to break Glenn Wright's 1924 record of 601 assists at shortstop, ultimately setting a new mark with 621.
