Willy Taveras 30-Game Hitting Streak cap

DescriptionBlack cap, size 7 1/8, with an orange and white embroidered star logo on the front and an MLB logo patch at the rear. Underside of the bill is light gray. Interior white cotton sweatband has several labels in the rear, including "Genuine Merchandise," "New Era" and a sizing tag. Interior front proper left panel has "1" handwritten in black ink.

Bio/Historical NoteWilly Taveras wore this cap during the 2006 season for his 30-game hitting streak, becoming the first member of the Houston Astros to reach that mark.
