Bobby Orr Hockey gloves

DescriptionBlack vinyl hockey gloves with four finger stalls and a thumb stall. Back sides are heavily padded. There are black and white embroidered manufacturer logo patches at the back of each wrist with a small padded flap bearing an NHL logo below this. To the side, "BK / rbkhockey.com" is embroidered in white on another padded flap. "Rbk" is embroidered in white lettering at the base of each of the thumb stalls. "Premium Lock Thumb" is embossed on the back sides of the thumb stalls. Palm sides of the glove are white suede. The palm side of the thumb stalls have a small open pocket towards the tip. "Rbk" is embroidered in white lettering on the palm side wrist areas. There are three manufacturer tags on the interior wrist areas.

Bio/Historical NoteOn January 1, 2010, the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers met in historic Fenway Park for the NHL Winter Classic game. The annual outdoor event opened with a ceremonial face-off between a pair of Hockey Hall of Famers: Boston's Bobby Orr, who wore these gloves, and Philadelphia's Bobby Clarke. The Bruins won the game, 2-1, in overtime.
