Randy Johnson 3000th Strikeout glove

DescriptionBlack leather right-handed fielder's glove with four finger stalls and a thumb stall connected by a piece of basket-weave webbing. Leather laces connect the tips of the finger stalls, line the top edge of the webbing, line the bottom palm side heel edge, line the palm side thumb stall, line the palm side pinky stall, run along the palm side heel and around the palm side bottom edge of the webbing. Palm side pocket area has several silver stamps, including "Rawlings" and "Pro-BU51 For The Professional Player." "Basket-Web" is in silver lettering on the top palm side of the webbing. Back side of the glove has an opening at the base of the finger stalls and a black terrycloth covering over the wrist strap with "The Big Unit" embroidered in white. Back side of the webbing has a large circular red and white manufacturer logo in the center. "51" is embroidered in white at the base of the thumb stall on the back side. "Gold Glove Series" is embroidered in silver lettering on the back side of the pinky stall.

Bio/Historical NoteGlove used by Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson to record his 3,000th strikeout of his career on September 10, 2000 against the Florida Marlins. The Marlins defeated the Diamondbacks 4-3.
