DescriptionWooden bat, 31 ounces, with black painted barrel and natural stain handle and knob. There is a white "Axis" trademark logo and design in the center of the barrel and "Customized Model / Robinson Cano / Pro Maple 8/17/11 DHL3" in white lettering near the end of the barrel. Barrel end tip is cupped. Handle and knob are wrapped in white tape. Knob end has "34 / 31oz" handwritten in black ink in the center.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees on August 25, 2011 to homer with the bases loaded in the fifth inning of an eventual 22-9 victory over the visiting Oakland A's. Later that game, Cano's teammates, Russell Martin and Curtis Granderson, duplicated and then triplicated the feat as the Yankees became the first team in major league history to clout three grand slams in one game.
