Rickey Henderson 939th Career Stolen Base batting gloves

DescriptionBlack batting gloves with light green detailing on the backs of the hands and back upper tips of the last three finger stalls. Backs of the finger stalls also have white embroidered stripes and "Mizuno" is embroidered in white vertically on the backs near the thumb stall. Back side wrist straps are fastened with hook-and-loop closures with a white rubber "M" logo. Palm sides are black leather with ventilation holes running vertically down each finger stall.

Bio/Historical NoteOn May 1, 1991, Oakland's Rickey Henderson made a headfirst dive into the record books when he grabbed third base with these gloves for his 939th career stolen base, passing Lou Brock's former record.
