David Ross World Series catcher's mask

DescriptionCatcher's mask with a red painted metal frame, and chin/throat guard and ear guards. There is red and tan padding at the forehead, jawline and chin. This padding is attached to the metal frame by hook-and-loop straps. Strap holding the chin padding in place has a black and gold embroidered manufacturer logo at the front. There is a black fabric head strap in the rear with horizontal and vertical straps. There are black plastic buckles for size adjustment. There is a black and gold manufacturer logo on the horizontal strap where it meets the vertical strap.

Bio/Historical NoteOvercoming a pair of early-season concussions, David Ross of the Boston Red Sox wore this mask while catching during the 2013 World Series from October 23rd through October 30th. The Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-2, to win the 2013 World Series.
