Andrew Heaney Tyler Skaggs Memorial shirt

DescriptionRed polyester shirt, size 46, with six red buttons down the front placket and "Angels / 45" in red, black and white applique across the front chest. There is white and silver piping around the sleeve ends and the neckline. Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturers label, "Majestic / Authentic Collection." Proper left sleeve has a circular patch with the Angels "A" logo in the center encircled by "Angels / 19 / 61 / Baseball." Below this is a white embroidered Majestic logo. Reverse of the shirt has "Skaggs / 45" in red, black, and white applique. There is an MLB logo patch at the top back of neck. Proper right sleeve has an Angels "A" embroidered patch and a rubber "MLB150" patch sewn to it. Shirt formerly had a small black circular patch with "45" embroidered on it in white adhered to the proper left breast that fell off in transport.

Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Los Angeles Angels' pitcher Andrew Heaney for the team's game on July 12, 2019, which ended in a combined no-hitter, accomplished by teammates Taylor Cole and Felix Pena. This was the first Angels home game since Tyler Skaggs, a pitcher on the team, passed away earlier that month. The entire team wore jerseys bearing the last name "Skaggs" and the number 45. After the game, the entire team removed their jerseys and laid them on the pitchers mound in tribute. Accompanying patch bears Skaggs' number, 45.
