DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Yogi Berra (left) and Whitey Ford (right) in an unidentified location, taken between 1950 and 1958. Both players are dressed in street clothes. Berra stands in profile to the camera with his right shoulder forward and Ford stands with the front of his suit facing the camera. Neither player is looking into the camera. The context of the image is unknown, but it is possible that it is related to Berra and Ford signing contracts with the New York Yankees. The date of the negative was determined by examining the career of the photographer Osvaldo Salas. Salas was active as a baseball photographer between 1950 and 1958.
