Ted Abernathy negative
Date1963 or 1964
DescriptionTwo black-and-white negatives of Ted Abernathy dressed in a Cleveland Indians uniform posing along the baseline between the field and the dugout. Ted's feet are more than shoulder width apart and his torso is bent forward. He is looking beyond the camera to his left and his hands, a glove on his left, are in front of his body. Another player on the Indians can be seen in the left standing by the stands in the dirt and an empty stadium right behind them in the background. Based on Abernathy's time with the Cleveland Indians and the uniform style (in both 1963 and 1964, the home and road uniforms were exactly the same), these images were taken in either 1963 or 1964.
