Bob Allison negative
Datebetween 1961 and 1968
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bob Allison dressed in a Minnesota Twins road uniform kneeling in the grass between home plate and backstop. Allison is kneeling on his left knee and leaning on a Louisville Slugger bat while resting his right arm on his bent knee. He is smiling and looking beyond the camera (not shown). Three people are on the field with him to the right with the one in the middle in a uniform and the person on the right wearing a hat. In the background is two-tiered stadium seating with a few people grouped in various sections on the edges of the negative. On the banner in front of the second tier seating is an advertisement that reads "WTOP e". The "shaking hands" logo patch is on his right sleeve. Based on Bob Allison's time with the Minnesota Twins, the uniform style, and when this image was donated to the Museum, it was taken between 1961 and 1968.
