DescriptionA black-and-white candid photograph of Bob Feller captured at the Hippodromo de las Americas horse racetrack in Mexico. He is dressed in a suit and tie with a handkerchief peeking out of his breast pocket. He is shown from the waist up, looking at the camera and smiling. Feller appears to be a fairly young man in this photo. A stadium full of people is behind him. The back of the photo (not shown) has been stamped in ink with what appears to be the official logo of Hippodromo De Las Américas México, O.F. The photo is ripped off along its right edge, suggesting it was originally part of a large image. The date of the photo is based on the fact that the Hippodromo did not hold its first race until 1943.
