DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller in the cockpit of an airplane. Feller wears a jumpsuit over his street clothes and a hat and goggles on his head. A newspaper cutline on the back (not shown) reads, " Bob Feller Tries Hand at a Faster Game - The Cleveland Indians' pitcher stepping out of a training plane at the Cleveland Airport after it was disclosed that he is taking flying instructions and already has made a solo flight." A stamp on the back gives a date of "Sep 25 1941."
