DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Nellie Fox and Roy Sievers. Fox, left, is captured dropping the baseball as teammate Sievers looks on. Siever's back is turned to the photographer and the number 5 is visible on the back of his jersey. Fox and Siever's are dressed in Chicago White Sox road uniforms. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Nellie Fox, White Sox' second baseman, juggles and drops high foul fly hit by Jim Gentile, Orioles' first baseman, in first inning of opener yesterday. Fox was not charged with an error." Based on Fox and Sievers uniforms and their time with the White Sox this photograph was probably taken in approximately 1959.
