DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth batting. The caption (not shown) reads "Here, for you young fellows to whom Babe Ruth is only a name, is a strip showing how the Sultan of Swat used to connect to park the ball in the bleachers. Ruth died just 10 years ago. This action strip was taken 1942 during workout at Yankee Stadium, New York, in preparation for batting exhibition against Walter Johnson, former Washington Senator pitcher. The exhibition was part of a benefit for Army-Navy relief."
