The second image caption (also not shown) reads, "All-time baseball great Ty Cobb, forced to skip the Yankee Stadium old-timers game 8/14 because of his wife's illness, is shown during one of the many highlights of his life, when he presented three medallions to the trustees of the foundation he established for college of post-graduate training for young men and women."
