DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller warming-up prior to a game. Feller's body position indicates that these are warm-ups because the position of his left stepping leg is about even with his right plant leg with both legs bent at about the same amount. His left glove arm is slightly behind him while his right throwing arm hangs in front of his body. His back is slightly bent and he stares off at the would-be receiver of his tosses. The stadium is unidentifiable. There are two teammates, one on either side of Feller, that are several yards behind him but cannot be identified and other players on the field in the background. In the left field bleachers, there are several dozen fans congregated in clusters. Based on the details of the uniform and a date stamped on the reverse (not shown), the photograph was taken in either 1947 or 1948.
