DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott captured walking away from the batter's box. Ott who is on the far right is being guided away from the batter's box by an unidentified teammate. Ott has his left arm extended out and the unidentified teammate who is center has his left hand on Ott's back and is shaking hands with another unidentified player with his right. Another New York Giants player, Babe Young, is walking towards the batter's box, his left arm extended in Ott's direction. All four gentlemen are dressed in New York Giants home uniforms. Based on Ott's time with the Giants and his uniform, this photograph was probably taken in 1941.
