DescriptionA black-and-white portrait photograph of Bing Miller. Miller, shown from the chest up, wears a Philadelphia Athletics road uniform. Looking forward, Miller establishes eye contact with the camera. Portions of the background have been painted for publication and are not original to the photograph. Visible to the right of Miller, handwritten on the surface of the photograph, in black, is a series of numbers. Pasted on the reverse (not shown), a caption, typed in purple ink, reads, "WITH ATHLETICS AT FORT MYERS EDMUND "BING" MILLER, OUTFIELDER, PICTURED DURING A RECENT PRACTICE SESSION OF THE PHILADELPHIA ATHLETICS AT FORT MYERS, FLA., WHERE THEY ARE IN TRAINING/ 3/10/34." Stamped on the reverse (not shown), in blue and black ink respectively, are the phrases, "RECEIVED MAY 17 1934," and "LAST TIME USED JUL 5 1935 EDITION - 3."
