Bing Miller Posed with Antlers photograph

Datepossibly 1936
DescriptionA black-and-white full-length posed photograph of Bing Miller with two sets of antlers. Miller, facing the camera, wears hiking shoes, pants, a hat, and a Philadelphia Athletics letterman-style leather jacket. Sitting on the bottom rail of a split rail fence, Miller looks forward, smiling, establishing eye contact with the camera. Resting against his knees, Miller holds with both hands a pair of elk antlers. On the fence behind Miller, visible on either side of his shoulders are a pair of moose antlers. A stand of trees and a wooden structure with tools hanging on the exterior can be seen in the distance. Pasted on the reverse (not shown), a caption, typed in black ink, reads, "It's all in getting the right kind of coaching," remarked Bing Miller, "and the rest is easy." Boston Red Sox coach exhibits his moose and elk trophies, shot in the Wyoming game fields."'Stamped on the reverse (not shown), in black ink, is the phrase, "LAST TIME USED NOV 28 1936 EDITION 2."
