Base Ball Tobacco package

DescriptionRed paper package with original cellophane wrapper and an intact blue paper label across the top panel, extending down over each side. Front side has a white baseball image at the top with "More and Better" in red lettering, "Base / Ball / Tobacco / For Cigarette And Pipe" in white lettering beneath with an image at the very bottom of cigarettes and a pipe. Back side is nearly identical except for "Fine Quality And Flavor / Ideal For / Cigarette / Or Pipe" instead of the image at the bottom. One side panel of the package has a notice from the manufacturer in white lettering while the opposite side panel has "Larus & Bro., Co. / Richmond, VA., U.S.A." in white lettering. The blue stamp covering the top panel and extending down over the sides has black lettering, "2 1/4 Ounces / Tax Paid / Act of Feb. 26, 1926 / Stamp U.S. Intern. Rev." Bottom panel has "Base / Ball" with a white baseball image in the center of the two words.
