DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Connie Mack, at the age of 83, captured demonstrating the proper pitching technique to six unidentified baseball players who are dressed in the Philadelphia Athletics road uniform. The players are all looking on as Mack has his left leg high in the air and is beginning his wind up. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) (not shown) and states, "Here's How You Do It, Boys Connie Mack, 83-year-old manager of the Philadelphia Athletics, steps to the mound at the A's training camp at West Palm Beach, FLA., rears his leg in the air and shows some prospective pitchers some real pitching form. Players are unidentified." Based on Mack's age, this photograph was taken in approximately 1946.
