DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Sandy Koufax posed next to a photograph of Lou Gehrig. Koufax is holding a notebook, with a stack of books next to him. The caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Dodger rookie pitcher Sandy Koufax is studying at Columbia and he won't be able to concentrate completely on his architecture course with picture of immortal Lou Gehrig at his side. Gehrig was also a Columbia student." According to the caption on the reverse, this photograph was taken on October 23, 1955.
