DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Napoleon "Nap" Lajoie's head and shoulders. Lajoie looks to his left and stares into the distance with a look of focused determination. Lajoie wears a home Cleveland Naps uniform, and based on the uniform details, this photograph was taken in 1904. Because this photograph was cut out of a print and pasted onto a rectangular wooden frame, there is no background to determine the location. There is a caption on the front (not shown) that states, "PHOTO by L. VAN OEYEN. Cleveland, O. Copyrighted 1904."
