DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Napoleon "Nap" Lajoie fielding a baseball. Lajoie stoops towards the ground with his knees and back bent while his left-glove hand and right-throwing hand are parted several inches in anticipation to acquire a ball coming towards him on the ground. Lajoie wears an away Cleveland Naps uniform. Based on the uniform details, this photograph was taken in 1903 or 1904. Lajoie practices in an unidentified field. An unidentified person has drawn several "X"'s on the photograph and outlined parts of Lajoie lending more defined lines in the photograph.
