DescriptionA black-and-white negative of, from left to right, Babe Barna, Willard Marshall, Connie Ryan and Mel Ott captured kneeling together on the sideline of a baseball field. Barna is wearing his baseball glove and has his other hand resting against his left leg. Barna is looking up with a straight face. Marshall has his arms crossed as he looks down with a slight smile. Ryan is captured looking down with his eyes closed and he has his baseball glove on. Ott has his left hand resting against the opposite arm and is holding a baseball bat. Barna, Marshall, Ryan and Ott are all dressed in New York Giants road uniforms. Barna and Ott are wearing jackets over their jerseys. Based on their time uniforms and their time together on the New York Giants, this negative was taken in approximately 1942.
