DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Pee Wee Reese captured standing on the baseball field holding a baseball bat out in front of him. Reese has a large smile. Reese's baseball glove is visible on the ground beside him. Several unidentified players are in the background on the field warming up before the baseball game. An unidentified gentleman dressed in a dress coat and hat is also in the background. Two players have numbers visible on the back of their uniforms, 5 and 31. Ebbets Field is in the background and several fans are in the stands. Reese is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform. Based on Reese's uniform and his time with the Dodgers, this negative was between 1940 and 1942.
