Leo Durocher and Joe Gordon negative

Dateprobably 1940
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Leo Durocher and Joe Gordon. Durocher is captured as his right foot lands on the base. Durocher has the number 2 on the back of his uniform. Joe Gordon, with the number 6 on the back of his uniform, is captured walking away from the base. An umpire is in the background with his hands by his side. Ebbets Field is in the background. A Coca-Cola advertisement is visible on the back wall of the stadium. Durocher is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform and Gordon is dressed in a New York Yankees road uniform. Based on Durocher and Gordon's uniforms and their time with their respective teams, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
