A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) and states, "Baseball's Mack Brothers Philadelphia, PA. - Brothers Mike Mack (left) and Connie Mack, the two oldest men in baseball. Mike, who works in the Shibe Park box office here, is 87. Connie, famous manager of the Philadelphia Athletics, is 80." Based on the newspaper clipping this photograph was taken on June 1, 1943.
