DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott crouching, posed as if he were a catcher, with a slight smile on his face. Ott has his baseball cap on backwards and is holding up his baseball mitt and his bare right hand. He is dressed in a New York Giants home uniform. The Polo Grounds is in the background. Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was taken between 1933 and 1937.
