DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott crouched in a catcher's position. Ott has a smirk on his face. His baseball cap is turned backwards and he is holding up his baseball mitt and his bare right hand. He is dressed in the New York Yankees home uniform. The Polo Grounds is in the background. Based on Ott's uniform and his time with the Giants, this photograph was taken between 1933 and 1937.
