DescriptionA black-and-white, chest length photograph of Mel Ott captured at the Polo Grounds in New York City. Ott is looking directly at the photographer with a straight face and his head ever so slightly tilted to his right side. Ott is dressed in a New York Giants home uniform. Based on Ott's uniform, his time with the Giants, and a stamp on the reverse (not shown), this photograph was probably taken in 1933.
