DescriptionA black-and-white, head and shoulder, photograph of Sandy Koufax captured looking straight ahead with a grin on his face. Koufax is dressed in the Los Angeles Dodgers home uniform. A caption is written on the back of the photograph and states, "Sandy Koufax Baseball." Based on Koufax's uniform and his time with the Dodgers as a pitcher this photograph was taken between 1958 and 1966. Koufax voluntarily retired in 1966 to avoid permanent damage to his already arthritic left elbow.
